Wyatt's career has been defined by a dedication to science and nature. Wyatt is a biologist with over 20 years’ experience and a specialization in wild bee ecology and behavior. During his time as a National Science Foundation Research Fellow and International Postdoc he became increasingly motivated to develop and implement practical solutions to save pollinators and the environment.
Wyatt's favorite native plant is New England Aster (
Symphyotrichum novae-angliae) because of its abundant purple blooms and its ability to support both pollinators and songbirds.
Wyatt holds a BA in Biology from Bard College and a PhD in Integrative and Organismal Biology from the University of New Hampshire. His published works on the genetics, behavior, and ecology of native bees can be viewed
